    EXPERIENCE: In order to be COMPETITIVE for this position, you must have:
    An appropriate University Degree.
    • Minimum of four years experience in Strategic Sourcing, including participation in such key processes as Procurement Performance Optimization, Procure to Pay, Procurement Transformation, Supplier Relationship Management, and Procurement Diagnostics.
    • Procurement experience within the Energy Sector, with particular focus on Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Mining, Environmental Services, Engineering Services and Heavy Hauling.
    • Several years of demonstrated management responsibility and project leadership.
    • Professional Consulting Experience and CPM designation highly desirable.
    • Exceptional English communication skills are mandatory.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    Our client is a global leader in Supply Chain Management Consulting with more than 15,000 worldwide professional staff in nearly 50 countries. The successful applicants will work with a variety of clients in the Western Canadian Energy Sector, helping develop strategies and operating models that integrate planning, procurement, product design, manufacturing and fulfillment functions within the client organization, as well as connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chain.

    Detailed responsibilities will vary from project to project, but may include:
    • Participating in, or leading the development of strategic sourcing programs.
    • Ensuring highest quality of data is collected to support supply chain procurement assessments.
    • Undertaking strategic level discussions with client leadership teams and identifying client pain points.
    • Assisting in the formulation of specific solutions to address prioritized gaps.
    • Supervising business architecture and process design activities.
    • Assisting in the development of performance measurements and Key Performance Indicators.
    • Training of client staff prior to deployment of business transformation programs.

    SALARY RANGE: Generous base, incentive plan and full benefits.

    EDUCATION: MBA and CPM preferred.

    REQUIRED TRAVEL: Three to Four days per week.
